Podcast listens - three with Tim Parton

By Jane Craigie

Here are three podcasts in which Tim Parton gives a deep insight into what The Green Farm Collective farmers believe, practice and change for the better. All farmers in the Collective have been on a personal, biological and nature-centric journey. Make yourself a cup of tea, or pour yourself a dram, and have a listen. You will love all three. I did.

  1. The Maddams Cast, by Tim Maddams - a podcast all about food, foraging, people and the planet. Here is the episode featuring Tim. To listen to all of the episodes of the Maddams Cast, head here.

  2. Defra's Future Farming Podcast, Janet Hughes, Defra's Future Farming Director, interviews Tim about nutrient-dense food and nitrogen-fixing bacteria. Fascinating. Listen to the episode here. You can find out more about the Future Farming Programme here.

  3. The Regenerative Farming Podcast, with the fabulous John Kempf. Tim talks about his journey into regen ag. Practical, enlightening and captivating. Listen to the conversation here. John Kempf is an entrepreneur, speaker, podcast host and teacher. He is passionate about the potential of well-managed agriculture ecosystems to reverse ecological degradation. Here is a link to all of his work, and here you can listen to all of the podcasts he's recorded since 2018. Rivetting.
